Why does Holden identify with Mercutio?

Holden identifies with Mercutio because in the story Holden talks about luggage and it bothers him when his roommate doesn't have an equal quality of luggage, in Romeo and Juliet Mercutio doesn't like how Tybalt shows off his material possessions. This is one similarity that Mercutio and Holden have, but Mercutio is also always ready for a fight, which Holden can definitely identify with.
